Episode 107: Don't Fear the Weird with Christina

An artist, art teacher and experiencer, Christina has an overwhelmingly positive view of the paranormal. Shadow people don’t worry her—humans do. (I can’t fault her—humans are scary critters.)

Known on Instagram as The Crescent Hare, she creates portraits of all our favorite cryptids in various guises: as astrological signs or as fae.

She also has shadow folks who follow her around and has seen—a Man in Black. First person I’ve personally spoken of who’s had an MIB sighting! (Squee!)

We had fun talking together about art, digital art, the Weekly World News, cryptids, strange occurrences, and mushrooms. We’ll be getting back together again sometime soon to talk more in depth about some of these topics.

Oh, so in this episode, I said I needed time to sit down and learn how to draw on the iPad with Procreate. The next day is when I feel in the bathroom and injured myself, so I had two weeks off to do nothing—but learn Procreate— while I healed.

Morganna said I should be more careful about what I wish for, because Coyote loves to grant wishes—in the most twisty way possible!
