Episode 8: Aliens vs. AI

Ok, the title is a little bit of hyperbole. There are no extraterrestrials here—well, okay, maybe some, but certainly not all of creatures talked about in this episode are ET’s. No, we’re talking about encounters with humanoid entities which covers a spectrum of what are commonly known as aliens, angels, fairies, demons, ghosts, Sasquatch and dogmen.

Dr. Christopher Diltz explains how he’s taking author Albert Rosales’ massive data set of humanoid encounters which he has collected for years, and is making it into a database that will be easily analyzed to give large amounts of useable information using natural language processing and machine learning.
