Episode 11: The Athens Zone

As Kendra says, “It’s like the Twilight Zone, but without Rod Serling and the creepy theme music.”

We talk about Athens, Ohio a lot in our podcast, because all three of us have spent a large part of our lives here. Morganna and I still live here, and while Kendra doesn’t, she visits as often as she can, because it just feels “like home.”

This episode is a proper introduction to Athens, as if it were a character in the story of our lives as experiencers. Which it is, to some extent. I don’t doubt that it was part of how and why Kendra and I became friends in the first place, and it was certainly deeply influential for all three of us in our formative young adult years.

So, here is the beginning of the story of our lives here in Athens. A taste of what is to come later as we expand upon the nature of Athens as the podcast moves forward into the future.
