Episode 23: Ship of Fools: UFO's, Dreams and Tarot with Regan Lee
This week, Barbara and Morganna talk with experiencer, author, blogger, artist, poet, and Tarot card reader, Regan Lee. We had a rocking good time visiting with Regan twice, because the first time we recorded something went awry and her vocal track on the recording came out garbled. But the second time, we captured the conversation for posterity and we even sort of stayed on topic. We started with UFOs, then moved on to missing time and possible abduction experiences, dreams, visions, and a possible past life experience. Then we ended up talking for a good long while about reading Tarot cards, and then galumphed on over to Mothman, angels and ended up with spiritual Sasquatch.
Regan’s main blog is called The Orange Orb: UFO’s Forteana, Dreams and More, but she also writes and posts art at Mothman Flutterings, The Stranger Side of Sasquatch, Vintage UFO, and UFO Mary .
She contributed to Darklore Volume II, edited by Greg Taylor, and has had articles and essays published in UFO Magazine, UFO Digest and Binnall of America.
Barbara and Regan talked a good bit about various Tarot and oracle decks the two have used and particularly liked over the years. Here’s a list of the ones mentioned in the episode:
The Deviant Moon Deck
Barbara Moore’s Tarot Wonderland
Tarot of the Magical Forest
Daughters of the Moon Tarot
The Dali Universal Tarot
The Connolly Tarot
Doreen Virtue’s Angel Dream Oracle Deck
The Medicine Cards (Animal Oracle Deck)
The Pamela Coleman Smith/AE Waite Tarot
These final two decks we didn’t mention in the episode, but I found out yesterday that both artists who illustrated these decks had just died. I was acquainted with them both, and they were lovely women whose art was very inspirational to me both as a reader and an artist.
The Robin Wood Tarot Deck
The Phoenix Cards by Susan Sheppard
