Episode 25: Cosmic Witchery with Susan Demeter

Almost from the first moment upon cracking open Susan Demeter’s book, Cosmic Witch: Magic, Witchcraft and the Supernatural, I knew I wanted to talk with her on the podcast.

So, that’s what I did. This is my first solo flight as a host on the podcast; Morganna had to make an appointment to get her taxes filed, and we decided that took precedent, so Susan and I had a “Witch to Witch” conversation. The two of us had a good time comparing and contrasting our own journeys into Witchcraft, and found to our surprise there are many coincidental similarities.

Susan is a lifelong experiencer and has worked as a paranormal investigator and is an accomplished writer, artist and experimenter. You can find more about her on her website, Out of My Mind’s Eye.

For those wondering about the poem I made mention of that is quoted in Susan’s book, and yet I flubbed it up completely, here’s the full text of the poem:

Yesterday, upon the stair,
I met a man who wasn't there
He wasn't there again today
I wish, I wish he'd go away...

When I came home last night at three
The man was waiting there for me
But when I looked around the hall
I couldn't see him there at all!

Last night I saw upon the stair
A little man who wasn't there

(This said, I certainly don’t want to get rid of our “Thing on the Stairs,” as we fondly refer to him as. He’s sweet and has never offered any harm to the household. He just likes listening to stories apparently.)
