Episode 73: Sexy Sasquatch II: Dude Might Be a Lady with Stephanie Quick
Last year when we did an episode with Stephanie Quick on the topic of a sexy synchstorm involving naughtyness and Sasquatch, we got such a great response, we decided to do it again.
So we’re back, and this time, we’re talking about issues of gender, sexuality and biology when it comes to how Sasquatch is perceived in American culture.
See, even though the most famous (some would say infamous) image of Bigfoot we have is of a female sasquatch—Patty, from the Patterson Gimlin film—it seems that most people tend to think of Bigfoot as being male. Why is that?
There’s lots of encounters with female Sasquatches, and there’s a lot of speculation about the behavior and mating habits from flesh and blood Bigfoot theorizers—some of which reads like bad “Boggy Creek” fanfiction, so we talk about that too.
And clear up some misconceptions about female primate biology. And, while we’re at it talk about theories as to why human women have swollen mammary glands even when we’re not actively lactating.
So now you know. If stuff like lactating, menstruating, and mating give you a case of the quiggly stomach, you have been warned—just don’t listen to this episode—come back next week.
But if you’re not scared off, there’s gonna be a lot of fun, a lot of thoughts and a lot of laughter.
