Episode 43: Kundalini, Creativity and Anomalous Lights with Seriah

I almost named this episode “Technical Difficulties With Seriah,” but that wasn’t really descriptive of what’s in the episode. (Except for some weird sound artifacts and echoes here and there that never happened before….) It, however, described perfectly what it was like recording the episode.

The Gods of the Internet decided that they didn’t want Morganna and I to talk with Seriah, so they threw a bunch of monkey wrenches into the works, and kept us from all gathering together in a recording session for a good forty minutes past our scheduled time. Finally, it all came together, and we recorded—having such a great time we talked for three hours straight, UNTIL the Internet Gods decided they were done, we were done and cut us off. We did at least come back together to say thank you to Seriah and have an actual ending of our conversation that made some sense and wasn’t just stopping in mid-sentence, but for a second there, it was touch and go.

Now, what we did do was talk, in the first half of our marathon conversation, about Seriah’s kundalini awakening and his various experiences with strange sounds and anomalous light phenomena, and how these experiences informed and inspired his creative works. At about the halfway point, we went way off topic and started talking about science fiction and a lot of that fun stuff, so I cut the recording in half and will present the second half at a later day when we need a really nice, light bit of fun episode.

Seriah is mostly known for his work hosting the long-running “Where Did The Road Go” paranormal podcast, but he also produces a radio show called The Last Exit of the Lost which explores the darker realms of music. He also has produced two films: Gateways to Magonia, which, while fictional is based on his own experiences, and Necrozombies From Beyond Space, which we hope is not based on his experiences.

He is currently working on a nonfiction book based on his paranormal experiences.

Books mentioned in this podcast include:

Kundalini and the Chakras: Evolution in this Lifetime by Genevieve Paulson
Kundalini, Evolution and Enlightenment by John White

And the Film—ok, the movie—Hide and Creep.
