Episode 60: Preaching The Word of John Keel With Zelia Edgar

“The Eight Towers of John Keel.” Mixed media collage by Barbara Fisher 2022. The first full art piece done in 2022. The collage is vintage images from the Smith-Rider-Waite Tarot deck combined with a photograph of John Keel, vintage UFO designs, old woodcuts and etchings and my hand-drawn art. See how many references to Keel’s words and ideas you can catch in this piece.

Very early on in the process of putting together the vague idea we had that became the 6 Degrees of John Keel podcast, the hosts decided we wanted to speak with Zelia Edgar.

It took us over a year to get her on the show, but we finally did it and it was VERY worth the wait.

Morganna and I recorded this in December, and then held onto the recording for Episode 60, which also is the first episode of 2022. Zelia was a delight to talk with, and we had so much fun with her, talking John Keel, High Strangeness, Bigfoot, Mothman, In Search Of, and all of the other great stuff that make the paranormal so darned interesting.

Zelia Edgar does the popular YouTube series, “Just Another Tinfoil Hat,” and her new book, “Just Another Tinfoil Hat Presents” is now available on Kindle and paperback on Amazon.

You can also find her on FB by looking up, guess what? Just Another Tinfoil Hat.

Now, interestingly, this episode was a big glitchy as we were recording it. There for a while, Zelia kept getting shoved off the Internet every time we started recording. We’d start the recording and then we’d get to something interesting and she’d disappear. We finally got that ironed out, and managed to piece together the episode in editing, but we found a weird static interference in the sound files. We couldn’t remove the noise, and it comes and goes, so we left it in. We’re sorry about that, but I do think it’s kind of funny, since Keel always talked about weird interference in telephone calls, and sounds on phone lines and recordings.

So maybe the Trickster element of the paranormal that loved messing with Keel decided to play games with us as we talked about Keel and all the other fun stuff while recording.

At any rate, we hope you enjoy the episode, and we’ll be back next week with more paranormal stories and experiences!

Happy New Year!
